Q1. What is SmileTrack?
SmileTrack is a one-stop treatment management solution dedicated to letting every user precisely achieve their oral health goals. Through our system, you can track the treatment history of every tooth in detail, completely statistic medical expenses, and quickly connect with quality dental clinics. We make tedious dental records visualized and easy to master.
Q2. How to start recording my treatment?
Click the "Add" button on the home page or the "Treatment Records" page to start. You just need to select the treatment item, fill in the corresponding treatment cost and clinic information, and you can also record your mood. The system will automatically aggregate by date and generate a detailed exclusive treatment resume for you.
Q3. How to switch the tooth numbering system on the tooth chart?
Enter the "Settings" page of the app and find the "Tooth Numbering System" option. You can freely switch between FDI (International Standard System) or Universal (Common System) according to clinic habits, and the chart will update instantly.
Q4. Is my personal data safe?
We take your privacy very seriously. All medical records and photos are encrypted and synced to your Firebase cloud account. No one but you can view this content.
Q5. Why didn't I receive the dental cleaning reminder notification?
The cleaning reminder system is affected by various factors. Common reasons include:
- System Permissions: Ensure you have allowed SmileTrack to send notifications in your phone settings.
- Power Saving Mode: When "Low Power Mode" or "Battery Saver" is on, the system may delay background tasks.
- Inactive for a long time: If the app has not been opened for a long time, iOS or Android may pause related reminders to save resources.
- Focus/Do Not Disturb Mode: Check if your phone is in "Do Not Disturb" or "Focus" mode.
Q6. How is the dental cleaning reminder time calculated?
For your dental health, we calculate it this way:
- Calculation Basis: The system calculates based on the date of your most recent "Cleaning" record.
- Reminder Cycle: Calculated starting from the cleaning day, a reminder is sent after more than 6 months (180 days).
- Dynamic Update: Whenever you add a new cleaning record, the system will automatically recalculate the next reminder time.

Account Setup & Initialization
After opening the app for the first time, you can quickly log in via Google or Apple ID. It is recommended to complete basic settings in "My Profile" before starting to record, especially selecting your preferred tooth numbering system, which will ensure all subsequent visual charts are presented in your most familiar format.
Create Your First Treatment Record
Click the "+" button in the center of the toolbar. On the edit page, you can:
- Enter the treatment item, amount, and corresponding clinic
- Precisely select the tooth numbers for this treatment
- Record personal feelings or special instructions from the doctor after treatment
Search & Manage Clinics
Through the "Find Clinic" function, you can search by address or clinic name. Click the "Favorite" icon next to the clinic information, and that clinic will be instantly integrated into your "Favorites" list for easy reference of contact information or booking appointments.
